The DAYS spoilers recap for Monday, October 17, 2022, sees Marlena Evans Black welcoming the Hail Mary pass that is a barely tested, supposed cure-all.

After preventing John Black (Drake Hogestyn) from destroying what he knew good and well was the one hope Marlena (Deidre Hall), Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) have to see another day, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) set about convincing everybody that they should at least investigate whether or not it could do what it promised and heal the ailing femes.

After careful consideration, Dr. Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) concluded that what was in the vial may or may not do any good…and that was good enough for Marlena, who demanded that she be injected with the liquid posthaste. John was dubious, but of course, he let his wife have the final say. So gallant of him.

DOOL Recap: Pointless
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) did her best to appeal to Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) better angels, apparently forgetting the fact that she has none. It’s all demons, all the time. Chloe’s time could have been better spent elsewhere, like with Brady, considering that he’s soon to break her heart so that Kristen will allow his loved ones to live. Gallant-ish? Maybe?
DAYS Spoilers Recap: Odd Man Out
If there’s one thing that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is sick and tired of seeing, it’s his wife embracing another man. And sure, Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) has a good excuse for hugging Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) — his mother is dying, don’t you know — but Rafe does know all about it, and his patience with the whole thing has worn thin.
It’s one thing for Nicole to comfort Eric, but a pat on the back and some platitudes would be far more appropriate. Why does she have to be so touchy-feely? Also, Rafe’s still pretty steamed that Nicole hired Eric to work alongside her at Basic Black without even checking if he’d mind. That’s a man who’s seen Nicole in a bikini…and her birthday suit! Hardly co-worker material.
