The DAYS spoilers recap for Thursday, October 13, 2022, features a plethora of miracles taking place for a number of people who so desperately needed one.
Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) is putting on her bravest face and doing her utmost to make everyone around her a little less conscious of the fact that she’s slowly dying, and it’s starting to take its toll.

John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is on hand to try and alleviate some of his wife’s burden, but it is a heavy one, and the delivery of an orchid — no, not the much in demand orchid, more on that later — and a note from Milo Harp, alias Orpheus (George DelHoyo), doesn’t help matters. Still, coming together and hating someone seems to help the couple.
Despite her protests — which weren’t real in the first place — Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) eventually agrees to do Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) the honor of marrying him…again. The hope is that, unlike the last wedding, one of them won’t immediately die afterward. That’s easier said than done considering Kate’s condition, but the fact that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) — who just so coincidentally can perform marriages — and Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) — who made a perfect witness — arrived soon after Roman’s proposal filled Roman and Kate with a special confidence.
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) loves Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). LOVES him. Loves him so much that she’s willing to dump him if it’ll help save his relationship with his daughter, who is most decidedly not Chloe’s biggest fan. Brady refused to entertain the notion. That would mean that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) wins, and he’s not about to let Kristen win.
Now, about that orchid that so many want to get their hands on…it’s currently in Kristen’s possession, and you’d best believe that she has a plan. And no, it’s not to let Marlena and her cohorts die. Kristen isn’t a monster. Well, not completely. She’s totally going to hand the bloom over and save everybody — just as soon as she and Brady can get on the same page.
