The DAYS spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 25, 2022, proves the old adage that no good deed goes unpunished…even when that good deed is ridding the world of the Devil.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
Having an unattached member of the opposite sex still reeling from retrograde amnesia sleeping in his bed is the least of Father Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) problems. Scratch that. That’s the least of Eric Brady’s problems. He’s a priest no more.
It turns out that in addition to a whole host of things, the Catholic Church frowns upon their clergy performing unsanctioned exorcisms. They could turn a blind eye to Eric doing it once. Twice? No siree.
In response to his defrocking, Eric did what every recovering alcoholic who’d spent time in prison for committing vehicular manslaughter — he contemplated having a drink. He didn’t do it though.
DOOL Recap: Making Amends
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) is really sorry that she said mean things to Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) when she believed that her son was dead. Of all the things that she’s done in her past, Ava wanted to make doubly sure that she apologized for that. Because she’s so wonderful, Kayla graciously accepted.
DAYS Spoilers Recap: Just Say Yes
Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) wasn’t so sure that she wanted to accept Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) proposal. First, she wanted to make sure that he was proposing for the right reasons. He was, he claimed. In fact, he’s been wanting to pop the question for weeks now.
Finding nothing wrong — or creepy — with that, and secure in the knowledge that Rafe wasn’t just asking in order to stake a claim on her, Nicole finally agreed to become his wife.
DOOL Recap: Love Affairs
Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) are so over each other. How over, you ask? He took Ava to bed, and she hopped into the sack with that dishy Li Shin (Remington Hoffman). However, what’s with the sad, pouty faces? It’s almost like they’re not over one another. Funny that.
DAYS Spoilers Recap: A Matter Of Billing
Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), believe it or not, has a bit of self-respect. He’s not going to let himself be a woman’s second choice — even if he still really, really loves Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).
