Susan’s (Stacy Haiduk) intuition is on the fritz. She thought she was being summoned back to Salem by the spouses Weston because EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) was in trouble…which he is, but Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) doesn’t know that, and that’s a story point that we’ll get to in just a moment.
Color Susan shocked by the accusation — well, suggestion — that Johnny (Carson Boatman) is possessed by the Devil. After convincing Ben and Ciara that that isn’t the case, Susan goes and convinces herself that it is a possibility after all. So, off to the DiMera manse she sets, ready to do battle with mean, mean, mean Satan.

For the briefest of moments, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) was on to Johnny — well, he wasn’t so much “on to Johnny” as Johnny just straight up revealed his status as the Devil’s host.

One brain scramble later, and the only thing Jake could remember was that Johnny was a lying jerk and that he’d convinced Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) to betray him. Oh, and speaking of Gabi…she and Jake are O.V.E.R. Splitsville. Never, ever, ever getting back together.
DOOL Spoilers Recap: One Hand Washes The Other
There isn’t anything that Orpheus (George DelHoyo) doesn’t already know. In fact, it’s quite conceivable that the man can see into the past and future. He’s sussed that Clyde Weston (James Read) either shot EJ or had him shot, and that does not bode well for Orpheus’s plans. He wants Clyde on the outside doing his bidding, and should EJ regain his pesky memories, Clyde will be getting an even stiffer sentence. Things are not looking good for EJ. Where’s Susan when you really need her?
