Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) might have been confronted by the love of his life, but the only person SaRenée (Linsey Godfrey) saw standing before (somehow!) her was her duplicitous husband, Alex Marshall. Yes, that Alex Marshall.

The one who hasn’t been on-screen in over three decades. The one who sired a child with Marie Horton. The one who got up to all kinds of mischief with a Playboy Playmate of the Year; well, with Shannon Tweed’s Savannah Wilder.

Does it matter that Xander looks nothing like the real Alex, or that their ages certainly don’t line up? Not to SaRenée. Heck, it doesn’t even matter to her that the real Renée has been dead since 1983, or that were she still among the living, she’d be 68 if she were a day. Don’t go bringing logic into this woman’s delusions!

Days of our Lives Recap: Big Business

Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) wasn’t sure what surprised him most. Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) betraying him and installing herself as head honcho of DiMera Enterprises, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) actually having his back, or JoDevil (Carson Boatman) flashing his jaundiced eyes at him and giving the whole game away. Either way, it wasn’t a good day to be Jake.

DOOL Spoilers Recap: Breaking Bad

Why should Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) keep quiet about Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) involvement in Abigail Deveraux DiMera’s (Marci Miller) kidnapping? Because Gwen has just as much dirt on Ava as Ava does on her. This one is most certainly a draw.

Ned Grainger (Chris Kalhoon) entered the fray with the hopes of blackmailing Gwen, but he’d come to the wrong lady. Luckily for him, Ava was in need of springing from the SPD. So, off he set to the fake mustache store.
