DAYS Spoilers Recap For March 23: Surprise — Daddy’s Home Now

The DAYS spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 23, 2022, features Clyde Weston darkening his son and daughter-in-law’s door, and Jake DiMera declaring that he and Gabi Hernandez DiMera are never, ever, ever getting back together.

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) could make life a misery for Clyde (James Read) now that he remembered that Clyde was kinda, sorta responsible for his shooting…but should he try it, Clyde promises to make EJ’s life a misery in return. So, what’s a guy to do but let his most hated foe go before the parole board, spin one hell of a story, and take the opportunity to waltz out of prison?

And where should Clyde go after his release but to the home of the couple Weston? Surely Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will welcome him with open arms.

DOOL Recap: Dumping Ground

Jake (Brandon Barash) didn’t betray Gabi (Camila Banus), but she sure did betray him. She betrayed him in business and in love, and she broke his poor little heart in the process.

Now, in Gabi’s defense, how was she to know that she was falling for the Devil’s tricks? She was just trusting her usually trustworthy eyeballs. Is there any way that Jake could forgive her her trespass? You know, for old times sake? Also, could he just forget that he walked in on her getting horizontal with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), please and thank you?

No, no he can not. Call Jake crazy if you must, but he’s not the least bit interested in hitching his wagon to a lady like Gabi. She made her bed, now she’s got to sleep in it all by her lonesome…unless Johnny comes a-knocking, that is.

Days of our Lives Spoilers Recap: Blame Game

As if EJ’s life couldn’t get any sadder, he learns that he’s in his current predicament because of his lawyer-cum-confidant Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) — though not really — that Devil is a tricky little so-and-so. At least Belle’s willing to try and get EJ out on account of the fact that she was possessed and therefore incapable of representing him to the best of her ability. That argument is going to go over really well.

Meanwhile, at Kate Robert’s (Lauren Koslow) urging, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) framed Belle for framing EJ for Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) kidnapping. Got all that?
