DAYS Spoilers Recap For June 23, 2022
The DAYS spoilers recap for Thursday, June 23, 2022, features Hurricane Sami touching down – much to Lucas Horton’s chagrin. How’s he supposed to wallow in misery and self-recriminate with her present?
Did Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) murder his niece while on a bender? That’s what Lucas sure would like to know. When Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) informs him that the police believe robbery to be the motive behind the killing, Lucas goes on a tear throughout his apartment hunting for the pilfered loot.
He’s unsuccessful at turning it up – more on why later – but he’s also got a sneaking suspicion that his drunk self could have just hidden it very, very well. Enter Sami (Alison Sweeney) to complicate matters. And look, she’s indeed on crutches. That’s one thing that Lucas didn’t lie about. Getting better, buddy!
Having already decided that she wanted to name her baby after his father, Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) also decreed that little Shawn’s middle name was to be Christian – the best of all the good Christian names. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) both found that cute; well, he found it “cute cute” and Ciara found it “cute.” Make no mistake, Ciara has got Jan’s number.
Remember those stolen DiMera treasures that we mentioned in passing? They were in Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) possession until he handed them over to Clyde Weston (James Read) to fence. Clyde relished the opportunity to do bad. How keeping in character of him.
Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) or Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn)? Who had the worst info to impart? Chad. No real contest. He had to tell his precious babies that Mommy wasn’t coming home ever, ever again. The only thing that Belle had to say was that she was thisclose to sleeping with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). And no, she did not inform Thomas and Charlotte of that fact. That was for Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) ears only.
