Having lied her tush off to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) — no, no of course Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) didn’t know that Abigail (Marci Miller) knew of his secret — Kate (Lauren Koslow) next confronted Lucas and demanded to know what he’d gotten up to the night before.
Much to her disappointment, Kate learned that not only did Lucas throw himself off the sobriety wagon, but he’d also acquired a hand-wound that most definitely could have come from stabbing Abigail.
DOOL Recap: Father’s Daze
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) visited Statesville in order to let Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) know that she’s lost a sister…only to learn that Gwen is already up on the latest town gossip.
Gwen had news of her own for her pops – she’d made him a birthday present, only he wouldn’t be receiving it because it had been smashed to smithereens…by accident and most decidedly not by Abigail. Motive? Gwen doesn’t have a motive. You have a motive!

Having apparently learned from the mistakes she made in her past, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) happily agreed to set Tripp Johnso (Lucas Adams) free rather than cripple him to keep him close. Still, she’ll miss him. But Seattle isn’t that far away.

Gabi (Camila Banus) is devastated, simply devastated. If anybody was going to kill Abigail, it should have been her. This is an indignity that will not stand! When she tells Chad that they’ll find the son of a bitch responsible for the crime, we believe her!
