DAYS Spoilers Recap for Tuesday, July 5, 2022
The DAYS spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 5, 2022, features naive Nancy Wesley stepping up to help her feller — which comes back to bite her but good! Also, Jan Spears does her part to bring down the establishment, and Ciara Brady Weston’s nearest and dearest react to her vacation plans.
Nancy (Patrika Darbo) REALLY believes in the spirit of rehabilitation. She believes in it so much, that when she learns Clyde Weston (James Read) — he’s a changed man don’t you know — is in need of lodging, she jumps at the chance to move him into her abode. To his credit, Clyde doesn’t take advantage of the offer.
Milo Harp, alias Orpheus (George DelHoyo), has a plan to hack the SPD mainframe and access sensitive files…or something. The plan is complicated and doesn’t seem to make much sense — which is keeping in Orpheus’s character — and the whole thing hinges on Jan (Heather Lindell) coming through with Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) login information.
She does…or so she seems to think; Orpheus will find out for sure at a future date. In the meantime, Christian Maddox, AKA Evan Frears (Brock Kelly), calls up Jan and demands to see his son. He’s got this thing about wanting to be a good father despite being a terrible one.
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers), and their children have bid Salem adieu, and Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) has shaken off this mortal coil and DAYS has survived, so what’s three more exits?
Sure, the likes of Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Doug Williams (Bill Hayes), and Julie Olson Williams, (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will miss Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) — not to mention their wee one — but those three have got some adventuring to do — and the sea is calling them.
They say that no good deed goes unpunished, so that might explain why, as soon as the offer to let Clyde bunk with her was made, Nancy was caught out by Rafe wearing one of Abigail’s pilfered bracelets. All the poor woman wanted to do was look stylish!
