Governor Mitchell (Richard Bramhall) has issued pardons for a variable rogues gallery comprised of Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (formerly William Utay, now Richard Wharton), Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), Milo Harp — alias Orpheus — (George DelHoyo), and Christain Maddox, AKA Evan Frears (Brock Kelly). They each have places to go and lives to ruin.

Evan makes a beeline to casa Brady and demands access to his son. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) tells him to kick rocks. Evan insists that he’ll prove his claim. Shawn is chagrined, Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) is…well, not too upset.

A while back, Kristen did Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) a solid by retaining Gabi Hernadez DiMera (Camila Banus) as DiMera Enterprises CEO, thereby keeping Jake gainfully employed. She’s now ready to collect on the favors that she’s owed. Favor one – she needs a place to lay her head. Jake’s dingy little apartment, the one he shares with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) above his garage will do just fine. And besides, don’t they say that three’s company too?

Orpheus is what some may call Evil incarnate…but he promised Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) that he’d be on his best behavior from now on. And we belie-BWHAHAHAHA! We very nearly said it, but just couldn’t. The whole premise is just too darn funny!

Kristen is far from Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) favorite person. Words like ‘vile’ and ‘bitch’ and ‘hate’ were tossed around pretty willy-nilly during the interrogation conducted by Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu).

But while that’s a verifiable fact, it’s also a fact, according to Sarah anyway, that she was nowhere near the DiMera mansion the night that Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) was murdered, Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) memory be damned.

DAYS Spoilers Recap: Love Lost?

Can Shawn and Belle make a real go of it despite her adultery? It’s possible. After all, Shawn groveled at her feet and apologized for, amongst other things, looking out for the wellbeing of his child – or not child, who knows at this point? – when he should have abandoned him to his fate just so that Belle would feel better. Lesson learned. Oh, and Belle is sort of sorry that she cheated on Shawn yet again. That’s something that she’ll work on.
