Allie (Lindsay Arnold) went from happy to see her grandma to sickened by the sight of her. The reason for Allie’s about-face: Kate’s admission to being well aware that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) was Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) kidnapper.

After admonishing Kate, Allie banished her from her life and from her grandson’s life. Despite being pretty peeved at ‘Katie’ herself, Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) assured her that Allie would probably get over it. She just needed time.

DOOL Recap: Wedded Miss

Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) isn’t heartless. She’s still going to drag Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) downtown for questioning, but she gave her person of interest the option to conclude her wedding to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). Sarah declined. The mood had soured.

Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) continued to mourn his dead wife, and Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker), who apparently doesn’t have a huge conglomerate to run, provided a shoulder for his friend to cry on.

So what if Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) has made herself clear? Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) can’t wait for her to make up her mind between him and his sister, not one minute more. He wants his lady back, and he wants her now. Would she marry him? Again?

No, said Chanel. But she appreciated the sentiment. Really, she did. She even offered up a kiss as proof…a kiss that a jealous Allie spied.

And just like that, the floodgates have opened. In addition to remembering Sarah fleeing from the scene of the crime, Lucas recalled seeing her stoop and picking something off the floor, then recollected wrapping up his injured hand and leaving the manse the same way he entered. Well, that’s another suspect to strike off the list.
