The DAYS spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 9, 2022, features a swing and a very big miss, a devious demand, the green-eyed monster getting the better of Nicole Walker Hernandez, and hope springing eternal for ‘Shelle.’
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) won’t be winning any Father of the Year awards or receiving a World’s Best Dad mug anytime soon — not after he proposed giving unstable Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) access to Rachel so long as Kirsten stepped down as overseer at Basic Black and out of Brady and Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) hair.

Unluckily for Brady, Kristen scoffed about as hard as your recapper. Not only is she staying put in her unearned executive position, but she’ll be all up in Brady and Chloe’s business for years to come! Oh, and she’s also going to go after joint custody of Rachel. You know, clean record and all. Take that, Brady!
Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) has had her fun, and now she’s ready to come home to her husband. And fool that he is, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) seems willing to have her. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) who?
Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) might be scared of Kristen, but he’s smart enough to know that you don’t piss off the man keeping you in mad scientist money. So, when Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) tells Rolf to keep Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) sedated, Rolf says, yes Sir, how long for, Sir?!
Aside from her bum ankle — which will be good as new any day now — Nicole (Arianne Zucker) has got it pretty good…so why is she so bent out of shape over Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) date with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu)? And why was she so quick to misread a perfectly innocent situation? Somebody needs to work on themself!
They’re trying, they really are. But neither Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) nor Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) is really feeling secure about their relationships. He’s as jealous as all get out over his wife’s ex; she knows that she’s trying to fill the Stefan-sized hole in her heart with a certified hottie. Still, Rafe and Gabi are going to give it the old college try with, respectively, Nicole and Li.
