The DAYS spoilers recap for Monday, August 8, 2022, features Dr. Wilhelm Rolf getting a visit from his benefactor, Ava Vitali getting one up on EJ DiMera, and Jada Hunter getting a crash course in Salem weird.
DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) has got a lot on her plate. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) are invoking her name like she’s Candyman, Bloody Mary, and Beetlejuice all rolled into one. So, of course, she’s got to put in an appearance and ruin their planned day of merriment, but first, she’s got to deal with the Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) situation.

Thanks to Rolf (Richard Wharton), Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) has been harvested for parts, and Stefan is off the ventilator and taking to his new heart like a champ — but Kristen wants more. She expects her brother to be up and about and bowing to her every whim posthaste! Make it work, Rolf, she says before sauntering off.
But Rolf making it work isn’t going to work for Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), Rolf’s heretofore silent — read: offscreen — partner-in-mad sciencing. He’s got plans of his own, and as Rolf’s bankroller, he expects to be the one that is listened to. He clearly doesn’t get Rolf and Kristen’s sick dynamic.

DOOL Recap: Say What?!
Though Marcus Hunter supposedly gave her the 4-1-1 on his hometown, Jada (Elia Cantu) is slowly but surely coming to realize that her new burg is home to some pretty shady goings on. Take Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), for example.
There he was, on paternity leave, only to realize that he’d been suckered into raising another man’s baby. And don’t even get him started on the fact that the little one’s mother is not his wife but is, instead, his longtime stalker who was glamoured into his wife’s double. Oh, and by the way, Jada, meet your new partner!
Days of our Lives Recap: A Game Of One-upmanship
No sooner had she been shown to her new bedroom than Ava Vitali DIMERA (Tamara Braun) deduced she’d been relegated to the Abigail Deveraux DiMera Memorial Suite. To say that she was put out would be an understatement. Still, she got back at EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) by getting her devious little hands on Jake’s company shares.

Just to clarify a few things: No, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), and Li are not “a thing” despite all appearances to the contrary. And no, Brady, there might not be any hope for Belle and Shawn. Her dalliance with EJ might have been one affair too far.
