The DAYS spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 24, 2022, features Ava Vitali getting a blast from the not-too-distant past, Li Shin continuing to be all kinds of awful, and BlackPatch proving why they shouldn’t be hired for all your protection needs.

DAYS Spoilers Recap Highlights

With Harold proving himself totally useless — no change there then — Ava (Tamara Braun) had to, uh, answer a knocking door herself. The gentleman caller? Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash)!

Of course, poor Ava mistook him for Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and almost immediately fainted from excitement/shock. To his credit, Stefan caught Ava as she headed for the ground — if only he’d been smart enough to actually call out for some assistance.

As it was, he sort of looked at the unconscious woman in his arms, shrugged his shoulders, and attempted to go about his business. Enter Li (Remington Hoffman) and his syringe full of sedative, exit Stefan.

DOOL Recap: Hit Maker

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) made a big boo boo. Turns out Milo Harp, alias Orpheus (George DelHoyo), wasn’t Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) mystery client, it was Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry). But what’s a mild assault between people who are practically family? Paulina readily forgave and forgot and hired Steph to do the PR for Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) campaign for Governor.

Days of our Lives Recap: Now Here This

Speaking of Abe…he and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) had a blast at the Brady Pub, remembering poor dead Lexie and tee-heeing over that time they both ran for Mayor, and EJ framed Abe for ballot tampering. What a hoot that was!

And in case there’s any doubt, Abe is for sure going after the Governor job. He’s pretty thrilled; Paulina even more so.

DOOL Recap: A Clear And Present Danger

Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) worked in concert to KO Orpheus but were stymied by the goons posted outside. There is a limit to how much sisters can do for themselves. Now it’s up to Steve and John to save the day.

DAYS Spoilers Recap: Body Of Proof

After coming to, Ava insisted to all and sundry that Jake was alive and well and how had had just come a calling. Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) didn’t believe her, Li tried to gaslight her into believing she’d merely confused him with her dead ex, and EJ got to work finding a way to make Ava’s ramblings work in his favor.

Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes. For more about what’s coming up in Salem, check out all the latest that’s been posted on DAYS spoilers, and for an in-depth look at the show’s history, click here.
