Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) hadn’t yet decided whether or not he was up to the challenge of purging Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) of his feelings for Gabi (Camila Banus) and implanting new ones for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), and then Gabi started running her motor mouth. Decision made!

So, off to his laboratory, Rolf did run, and dark science he did attempt to do — but just when he was getting a rhythm, Stefan awoke…and he didn’t seem at all pleased by his predicament.

DOOL Recap: Blame Game

Rather than be of any real help to his wife or family, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) took to sitting around and feeling sorry for himself and sorry for ever having any faith in that truly awful Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). To her credit, Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) let him feel his feelings, but she also strongly encouraged him to buck up and keep it moving. Always pragmatic, that one.

Days of our Lives Recap: Swing And A Miss

Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has absolutely no time for Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), and she knows it. Still, that didn’t keep her from giving her brother a pep talk. It went about as well as can be expected.

DOOL Recap: Storytime

Gwen had quite the tale to tell Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Supposedly she snuck into the DiMera manse with the intention of scaring Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) into thinking she’d been injected with another dose of Rolf’s potion, and when that failed, she apologized. She and Abigail made up(ish), and Abigail let her go on her merry way. Yeah right!

DAYS Spoilers Recap: Conviction

Thanks to some insinuations made by Rolf, Gabi’s all the more curious to figure out what the madman is up to. This doesn’t please Li Shin (Remington Hoffman).
