In addition, Gwen explains herself to Kristen, and Dimitri makes plans to dispatch his uncle and aunt. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what happened.
Days of our Lives Recap: A Winning Hand
In Greece, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) made contact with Konstantin Meleounis, hoping that he’d be able to shed some light on why exactly Victor had made the journey to The Land of the Gods in the lead-up to his death.
Unfortunately, Konstantin didn’t have much to report. He could tell that Victor’s visit to comatose Bo had been very difficult for him, but he also sensed that something else was on his mind other than his ailing son. When Konstantin asked Victor about it, Victor clammed up.

Brady then wondered whether or not Victor had made mention of his will. Konstantin knew nothing about that document, but he did relay that Victor had mentioned a letter — a letter that was clearly of great importance to him.
Brady suddenly remembered the caché of letters that Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) had discovered in the wine cellar of Victor’s childhood home and asked if Konstantin could guide them to the spot. Upon locating the lockbox, Brady and Alex readied themselves and then opened it. EMPTY!
And that’s because the contents from inside the lockbox had been spirited away by Victor and had been found amongst the wreckage of his downed jet — and who should ISA Director Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) foolishly entrust them to but his daughter Theresa (Jen Lilley)!
DAYS Recap: Flip The Script
Back in Salem, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) assured Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) that she’d “jumped off cloud nine” and landed safely back on Earth her old, cynical, misanthropic self. All that remained was for Gwen to explain how she had finally seen Dimitri (Peter Porte) and Leo (Greg Rikaart) for the “lying snakes that they are” — after she’d walked in on Dimitri and Leo in a compromising position while on her and Dimitri’s honeymoon!
Upon hearing how Dimitri had confessed to Kristen that he and Leo were truly in love with one another, Gwen readied to confront the pair. Kristen, however, had other ideas, namely, turning the tables and getting back at them. After pausing a moment to think, Gwen grinned and declared, “Let’s get ’em!”
DOOL Recap: Murder Most Horrid
Meanwhile, as Gabi (Camila Banus) floated the idea of blackmailing Dimitri into handing over not only his stake in DiMera but the entire Von Leuschner fortune as well — which Stefan (Brandon Barash) gently talked her out of it — Dimitri filled Leo in on a few salient facts.
Firstly, he and Gwen haven’t been “shagging their asses off.” That’s a lie. However, that’s not to say that they haven’t engaged in some sexual activity. After all, he doesn’t want to make her suspicious.
Secondly, he’s sleeping with Leo because…because he loves him. And how does he know that he loves him? Because he misses him when he’s not around. And he misses his smile, and his laugh, and he wants to share everything with him. AWWWW!
Now, all that granted, there’s the little matter of Gabi and Stefan trying to blackmail him. Dimitri’s solution? Kill them both! Leo did his best to dissuade his beau, rightfully pointing out that Gabi and Stefan’s deaths would mean two fewer presents under the Christmas tree, but it was to no avail. Dimitri will be damned if he allows two newly discovered relatives to ruin things for him. And, as for Leo, all he has to do is sit back and keep his mouth shut and look pretty. Daddy Dimitri’s got it from here.
