Days of our Lives Recaps: Monday, December 5
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) jumps to conclusions when he spies Nicole Walker Soon-To-No-Longer-Be-Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), arm in arm, exiting Little Bar. Eric and EJ verbally spar, and Eric throws a punch that sends EJ reeling. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) arrive on the scene and try to quell the chaos but Eric assaults Shawn for his trouble. With Nicole’s blessing, EJ insists on pressing charges against Eric. Shawn cuffs his brother-in-law and leads him away.
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) answers Sonny Kiriakis’s (Zach Tinker) ringing phone when he recognizes Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) number; his actions serve to stir the pot. Sonny is put out to learn that Will won’t be returning to Salem for Christmas… Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) takes Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) to task for working overtime to convince Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) that they’ll reconcile. Kristen proffers that she can indeed push the issue, but she’d rather Brady fall back in love with her organically. The tension between them turns sexual but Brady takes his leave of Kristen.
Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) joins Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and their efforts to troubleshoot in the wake of Paulina Price Carver’s (Jackée Harry) arrest and prove himself invaluable. Chad is deeply affected by the sight of Alex and Stephanie smooching.
DAYS Recaps: Tuesday, December 6
Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) made each other’s acquaintance, and the former offered the latter her services… Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) was assaulted by the sight of “Murderer” spraypainted across the front of Sweet Bits.
EJ treated Nicole to a hangover cure and alleviated her guilty conscious by promising to drop the assault charges against Eric. Later, Nicole accepts EJ’s offer to host her and Holly Jonas (Elin Alexander)… Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) very nearly fills Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) in on Stefan O. DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) brainwashing but Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) appearance — and subsequent threats — prevent him. Afterward, Johnny and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) resolve not to break ranks.
DOOL Recaps: Wednesday, December 7
Upon being apprised of Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) intention to resign his post, Paulina beats him to the punch, secure in the knowledge that her stepping down as governor will prevent any more calls for Abe to do the same… Sloan secures Eric his freedom… Nicole and EJ disabuse Johnny of the notion that they’re sleeping together… Johnny and Chanel commiserate with one another… Nicole is put out to find Sloan and Eric enjoying breakfast and one another’s company.
Days of our Lives Recaps: Thursday, December 8
EJ’s aunt, Sister Mary Moria (Stacy Haiduk) arrives full of admonishments and sends him on an epic guilt trip… Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) sneaks her way into DiMera House, ascertains that EJ is planning a memorial service for his Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), and she decides that will be the day she revenges herself on her rival… Nicole and Eric part company and the latter heads to Sloan’s apartment… Gabi asks Wendy to be her maid of honor; Wendy accepts… Stefan confronts Johnny and Wendy over their absconding with the DiMera jet.
DAYS Recaps: Friday, December 9
Maggie Horton Kiriakis’s (Suzanne Rogers) and Sarah Horton Cook’s (Linsey Godfrey) efforts to cheer Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) up and calm her rattled nerves are all for naught… Stephanie and Alex’s passionate clinch is interrupted yet again by a work emergency.
The walls close in on Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) courtesy of Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) who wants to help his cousin sue Rednax for unfair dismissal… Bonnie recalls that it was Xander who kidnapped her… Leo works overtime to sell himself as a gossip columnist to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). The besties devolve into discussing the men in their life…
