Days of our Lives Recaps: Monday, August 28
Off a contentious confrontation with Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Belle (Martha Madison), Shawn (Brandon Beemer) puts an end to his sessions with Marlena (Deidre Hall) and contemplates taking his own life with his service weapon…. Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) doubles over in pain and Xander (Paul Telfer) rushes her to the hospital where she’s given the once-over and discharged.
Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Roman (Josh Taylor) are reunited with Rex (Kyle Lowder) and learn of his impending marriage to Sarah…. Chole (Nadia Bjorlin) is thrown when she comes face-to-face with Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and hears his confession to faking his own death. Philip endeavors to right the wrongs he committed. Philip and Brady run smack dab into each other.
DAYS Recaps: Tuesday, August 29
Brady gives serious consideration to turning Philip in to the authorities — Chloe’s pleas for mercy be damned…. Shawn goes to Marlena seeking help…. Steve (Stephen Nichols) nudges Abe (James Reynolds) in Paulina’s (Jackée Harry) direction…. Paulina requests Rafe (Galen Gering) to return to SPD and take over his former position, but Rafe won’t hear of it until the fraternization policy is amended…. Rafe admits to Jada (Elia Cantu) that he’s falling in love with her.

Dimitri (Peter Porte) and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) return from their honeymoon. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) inadvertently hints to Gwen that Dimitri is keeping something from her…. Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Sonny (Zach Tinker) cross paths…. Chad (Billy Flynn) gives Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) food for thought…. Gabi (Camila Banus) and Stefan (Brandon Beemer) inch ever closer to uncovering Kristen and Dimitri’s secret.

Stefan and Gabi deduce that Leo is Dimitri’s secret lover…. Despite Leo’s best efforts, his impersonation of Gwen fails to make an impact on Elliot Roth (Darren Richardson)…but the obvious love match between the two men does…. Despite himself, Brady agrees not to press charges against Philip.

An amnesiac enthralls Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Marlena. Marlena tasks their respective husbands with finding the man’s identity…. The city council amends the fraternization policy and Paulina reinstates Rafe…. Steve gives Abe some tough love which prompts Abe to make a real effort with Paulina…. Shawn aims to reclaim some normalcy, but Belle voices concern…. Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) comes calling on Brady.
