The Days of our Lives recaps for June 6 – June 10, 2022, features talk of murder, a murder ordered, and a murder committed. Gosh, Salem sure is a murder-happy town.
During a confab with Will Horton (Chandler Massey), Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) finally admits her truth: she’s in love with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens)… Chanel and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) agree not to let their mutual love for Allie stand in the way of their budding friendship.
Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) beams as Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) learns there’s no trace of a knockout drug in his system; Sonny threatens to kill his rival as a result. Thanks to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), Leo gains access to the tunnels running beneath DiMera House.
Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) cross paths… Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) resigns herself to clearing EJ of Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) kidnapping once and for all; Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) blanches.
Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) cops to falling in love with, and nearly marrying, Gwen – the woman responsible for extending Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) stay on DiMera Island and contributing to her loss of memory. Sarah’s just pleased that the wedding was halted. The two run into Chanel who introduces herself as Xander’s ex-wife.
Against her better judgment, Dr. Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) agrees to serve as Jan Spears’s (Heather Lindell) psychiatrist. Belle Brady (Martha Madison) does not thank Marlena for her decision… After making a fool of herself, Belle requests shelter at DiMera House. EJ is all too happy to provide it.
Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) chanced upon Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart); he’s quickly convinced that Leo is the Tooth Fairy… Chad outs Lucas as Sami’s kidnapper; Abigail agrees to kill the investigation… Will bids his nearest and dearest adieu.
EJ has a salacious dream about Belle. Belle walks in on a nearly naked EJ; she appears hot and only slightly bothered… Lucas asks Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) for his blessing to propose to Sami. Roman is tickled that Lucas thinks anyone’s opinion but Sami will matter.
Jan goes into premature labor. Marlena phones Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) who’s forced to tear himself away from a contentious conversation with EJ and Belle… Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) is back in town; she senses a foreign presence in the DiMera mansion.
Chad warns that Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) that Abigail is aware of Lucas’s crime… Abigail agrees to Gwen’s request for a visit. Abigail not only refuses to transport a mug Gwen crafted for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), but she gleefully smashes it in Gwen’s presence. Gwen swears vengeance.
Gwen orders Leo to assassinate Abigail. Leo sneaks into Abigail and Chad’s boudoir and hides in the closet… Sarah finds Marlena and confesses to having confused Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk)! Marlena assures Sarah that hallucinations are a side effect of Rolf’s drug.
Jan delivers a sickly baby boy… A distraught Belle turns to EJ… Upon learning that Abigail knows his secret, Lucas thieves a bottle of spirits and heads off into the night… Gwen seemingly slips away from her prison confines… Chad finds Abigail’s bloodied corpse lying on their marital bed.
