The Days of our Lives recaps for February 28 – March 4, 2022, feature a night for romance going horribly wrong, a daring search and rescue mission, and so much more.
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) are aghast to learn that Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is Craig Wesley’s (Kevin Spirtas) boyfriend.
Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) debate whether Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) could be possessed by the Devil. Opposite this, “Johnny” took great pleasure in revealing Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Dupree DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) affair to his sister’s dumbfounded fiancée Tripp Dalton Johnson (Lucas Adams).
In the aftermath of “Johnny’s” bombshell accusation, Allie came clean to Tripp about the night she spent with Chanel. Tripp demands the return of the ring he used to propose to Allie. Chanel blasts “Johnny” for his actions. Back at the DiMera manse, Johnny fights to regain control of his body but is suitably rebuked.
Chloe and Brady warn Craig of Leo’s penchant for mischief-making, but Craig is unperturbed…TR Coates (William Christian) makes overtures to Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), and she soundly rejects them – but his seeming sincerity begins to soften her feelings towards him…Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price Grant’s (Sal Stowers) romantic Valentine’s Day is interrupted by an emotionally distraught Chanel.
Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) involve themselves in Tripp and Allie’s personal business, but neither one can convince Tripp to forgive Allie her trespass.
While on their way to rescue Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller), Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) regales Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) with memories of his first love, Renée DuMonde.
On the DiMera owned island, a subdued Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) dine on an anniversary feast supplied by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). Afterward, Kristen intimates that she poisoned the meal…Chad and Tony storm their sister’s makeshift fortress and find Abigail and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) deep in conversation. Sarah throws herself into Tony’s arms.
Kristen explains to Steve and Kayla that she’s drugged them with the same memory-altering substance that was used on Abigail and Sarah. The couple gets the upper hand on their captor and rushes to keep the others from meeting a similar fate.
Abigail fills Chad and Tony in on Sarah’s delusion that she’s Renée. Sarah forces the group to sit down for dinner. When Steve and Kayla arrive with their dire warning, Sarah reveals that she substituted goat’s milk for the strange liquid that was intended for the Island Chicken.
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) delight in the prospect of Abigail’s homecoming. They update Anna Fredricks DiMera (Leann Hunley). When Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) arrives to offer his and Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) condolences for their missing daughter, he is likewise updated. Anna takes the opportunity to warn Xander against involving himself with Gwen.
Abigail and co. make it back to Salem. Abigail tells all about her investigation into Sarah’s disappearance, Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) involvement in the fake Sarah scam, and warns that the former mafiosa has a yet-to-be-identified accomplice.
Ava is hauled down to the SPD; in turn, she summons Gwen and wonders why she shouldn’t rat her out…Jack informs Xander that Sarah – the real Sarah – is home. Xander dashes off before Jack has time to explain the young woman’s plight.
Sarah absconds from University Hospital and makes a beeline for Tony. She’s not at all pleased to find him in Anna’s arms; he’ll have to get a divorce, Sarah explains…Xander and Sarah cross paths outside the Salem Inn.
