Days of our Lives Recaps: Devilish Trickery, Escape, And Mounting Rage
The Days of our Lives recaps for November 29 – December 3, 2021, feature the Devil going into hiding alongside some oh so helpful friends, a jealous lover on the warpath, and so much more.
A possessed Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) paints herself as a victim of spousal abuse. Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is quick to believe the charge, but Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) is skeptical that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) would ever turn violent; devilish trickery makes her a believer. Marlena convinces the couple to go on the run with her. Shawn Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) issues an APB for Marlena’s arrest.
Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) interprets Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) refusal to spend the night with him as proof that she did indeed cheat on him with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf)…Brady is tempted to drink, but he phones Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), and she listens to his tale of romantic woe.
Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) tries and fails, to cajole her guard into revealing who it is that’s paying him. She later renders him unconscious and mounts an escape attempt…Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) is aghast to learn that the woman who alerted him to Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) fling with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) was Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in the guise of Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk).
Kristen demands that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) spring her from the SPD, then recruits a reluctant Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) into lending Gwen her assistance…During a private confab with Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker), EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) admits to a litany of regrets.
After purloining her guard’s cellphone, Sami manages to communicate her exact location to Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo)…Gwen and Ava manage to sufficiently frighten Kristen’s police escort into depositing the villainess at a location of her choosing.
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) assures Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) that they will always be father and daughter – biology be damned…Chloe revealed to Philip that she knows Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) stripped him of his CEOship. They make plans for a quite night in, but while Chloe goes to collect their meal, Philip slips out into the night…After a brief convo with Chloe, Brady is viciously attacked from behind…Ciara, Ben, and
“Marlena” takes refuge in the cabin that Ben restored. Ciara’s suspicions of “Marlena” compound.
The archangel Gabriel (Mark Colson) descends upon the spouses Weston and “Marlena.” He makes it clear to Satan that its plans will not come to fruition…Abe confesses to Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) that he’s still in love with her – but he’s not sure that the broken trust will ever be restored. She promises to do whatever she can to ensure that it will be…Philip’s efforts to frame Brady for uprooting his and Chloe’s tree are for not. Later, Philip collects the unconscious Brady and sets about arranging a crime scene…
