The Days of our Lives recaps for September 11 – September 15, 2023, feature the beginning of a far-flung adventure, evil (hopefully only temporarily) triumphing over good, and more.
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) debuts Victoria Margaret…. Brady (Eric Martsolf) warns Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) against involving himself with Theresa (Jen Lilley). The two men resolve to solve the mystery of Victor’s missing will…. With her claims seemingly verified, Vivian (Louise Sorel) ordered those residing in Chez Kiriakis to “get the Hell out” of her house.
In a choice between Talia (Aketra Sevillian) and Johnny (Carson Boatman), Chanel (Raven Bowens) chooses Johnny…. Wendy (Victoria Grace) and Tripp’s (Lucas Adams) morning after the night before is rudely interrupted…. Ava (Tamara Braun) and Harris (Steve Burton) are spurred to leave Salem by the former’s visions of not-at-all-dead Susan. Their destination: London. But first, a detour….
Wendy provides Ava and Harris with fake passports…. Chanel lets Talia down as gently as she can…. EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) takes up the case of the assassin he employed to off Ava…. Shawn (Brandon Beemer) shows up to yet another crime sheet three sheets to the wind. After a contentious face-off with Belle (Martha Madison) he heads for the Brady Pub and asks to join Talia.
Shawn and Talia make each other’s acquaintance. After causing a scene and getting kicked out of the bar area, the two continue their party in the room that Talia and Jada (Elia Cantu) share. Soon they are entwined in a passionate clinch…. Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) provides Alex with a helpful lead: Victor spoke to a Konstantin Meleounis the day his plane went down…. John’s (Drake Hogestyn) gaggle of offspring met their grandfather, Timothy (Special Guest Star Dick Van Dyke).
At Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) urging, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) agrees to momentarily retreat from the battlements, but she promises Vivian that the war is far from over…. Theresa makes a nuisance of herself much to Alex and Brady’s chagrin…. A vindictive Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) rats out Dimitri (Peter Porte) and Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) affair but Gwen (Emily O’Brien) reveals that she was already well aware…. Gabi (Camila Banus) and Stefan (Brandon Barash) offer Dimitri some quid pro quo. They’ll keep silent about the aforementioned affair so long as Dimitri turns over his and Megan’s voting proxy.
