Days of Our Lives Recap: WATCH OUT, SALEM! It’s Kristen Vs. Sami!

The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, August 24 features a wedding full of chaos… that brought back memories of other weddings full of chaos.

Kristen DiMera Is BACK
Sami (Alison Sweeney) disrupted the wedding to warn Marlena (Deidre Hall) that if she married John (Drake Hogestyn), she would die.

After hauling off at “Susan” we learned — one snatched wig and one knocked-out set of dentures later — that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is back.

Kristen was a little upset, to say the least, about the incident in Italy where she was tossed out the window and left for dead.

After admitting that she paid the real Susan a visit in Memphis to mess with her mind, she informed Marlena that she specifically picked her wedding day to end her life.

Both Sami and Brady (Eric Martsolf) tried to talk Kristen down. That’s when Kristen decided that she wasn’t going to shoot anyone; she was going to direct Sami to do so.

She then informed Sami that EJ was still alive, and directed Sami to pull the trigger if she ever wanted to see EJ again. As Sami aimed, she was stopped but the gun went off!

Will Recalls His Wedding
Will (Chandler Massey) told Sonny (Freddie Smith) that while watching his grandmother get married, he remembered getting married to Sonny.

Even though he insisted that he loved Paul (Christopher Sean), Will admitted that he remembered feeling not only love from his grandmother but being loved by Sonny.

A bit of cat-and-mouse between Sonny and Will helped trigger more happy, warm memories in Will’s mind. He remembered how he loved his mother, the first time he met and held his daughter, and the time Marlena declared them “husbands for life.”

Will then told Sonny that he remembered his whole life, and it was here that the duo shared a passionate kiss.
