Days of our Lives Recap: Brady Is Stable But Kristen Is Not

The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, January 26, 2021, features Brady taking a bullet meant for Philip, Kristen risking it all, and Rafe spending his birthday with another man’s wife.

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) went off the rails after hearing Brady (Eric Martsolf) get shot. She spun out further when Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) got on the phone. Didn’t Brady just say he was not with her? What exactly was going on there?

Chloe rushed Kristen off the phone and called 911. Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) came running and they tried to stop the bleeding while waiting for help. Brady was rushed to the ER where Sarah (Lindsay Arnold) removed the bullet and stabilized him.

A Hostile Move

No sooner did Kristen hang up than Tony (Thaao Penghlis) showed up. He whined about the DiMera drama but she stopped him. Brady was way more important. Tony promised to get her updates but that was not enough. Kristen grabbed a guard’s gun, held it to Tony’s head, and demanded her release.

Her plan worked. She did make it to the hospital just in time to find Chloe crying at Brady’s bedside. This rubbed her the wrong way and she assumed he was shot because of the singer.

A Big Warning

Meanwhile, Sarah (Lindsay Arnold) had a chat with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) about her bestie. She warned Ava (Tamara Braun) was not only running with her mob family again but running the show. Nicole was shocked. She had a talk with Ava about it. She implored Ava to give up the hard life, especially since she finally has Tripp in her life.

Nicole left and Philip came in. He laid into Ava about the shooting and she was stunned. She swore she had nothing to do with it. Why would Angelo order the shooting anyway, Philip? What did you do?

Happy Birthday, Rafe!

As for Nicole, she left to have a chat with Rafe (Galen Gering) about Allie’s case. She found him at his house and quickly realized it was his birthday. He had just finished having cupcakes with Gabi. Nicole insisted they head out for an afternoon on the town.

Let’s Make A Deal

After making birthday wishes with Rafe, Gabi headed on over to the DiMera mansion with her proposal. Kate (Lauren Koslow) was none too pleased to see her but Jake kept it all business. He agreed to hear her out but warned flirting would get her nowhere. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
