Days of our Lives Recaps: Monday, September 19

When Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) jumps to the conclusion that he’s cheating on her, Clyde Weston (James Read) reveals his intention to propose; Nancy happily accepts…Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) are chagrined to learn that Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) doesn’t put much stock in Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) being his assailant. Sonny recalls getting a strong whiff of vanilla right before he was stabbed.

Leo theorizes that it’s Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) arranging a frame job…Craig returns to Salem, much to Nancy’s displeasure…Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) regains her sense and returns to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).

DAYS Recaps: Tuesday, September 20

Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) gives up Leo’s location to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Leo is promptly arrested…Craig wasn’t thrilled to learn of Nancy’s intention to marry Clyde…Jennifer Rose Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) pops a pill; Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) remains none the wiser…Chad and Stefan O. DiMera (Brandon Barash) come face-to-face…At EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) urging, Stefan makes a move to regain his shares in DiMera Enterprises…Clyde and Craig face off. Chad interrupts the pair and notes that the air smells of vanilla.

DOOL Recaps: Wednesday, September 21

Rachel Black’s (Finley Rose Slater) custodial hearing resumes. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) calls John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to testify; he folds under the pressure that Kristen applies and blurts out that Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) may very well be on her death bed…Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) supplies the judge with a surveillance tape that captured Kristen threatening to murder her with a letter opener…Brady is awarded sole custody of Rachel.

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is prevented from delivering a death blow to Orpheus (George DelHoyo)…Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) checks herself out of the hospital…Kate and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) debate whether or not to reveal Philip Kiriakis’s whereabouts in event that it could sway the family court judge’s decision; the point is mooted by the subsequent decision.

Rafe subjects Craig to an interrogation…Nancy tells Chad that Clyde’s cologne is vanilla scented…Clyde recalls stabbing Sonny Kiriakis…Gwen catches Jennifer with her stash of pills; Jenn warns Gwen against saying anything to Jack…Events conspire to convince Sonny that Alexander Neil Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is gunning for his job.

Sonny remembers seeing Clyde’s reflection in a picture frame seconds before receiving his grievous injury…Chad decamps to the DiMera mansion, where he procures a handgun…Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) is able to discredit the alibi Clyde claimed to have on the day of Abigail’s murder…Nicole Walker Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) level with one another about their respective sex fantasies…Chloe confides her subterfuge to Brady.
