A recent Instagram post from a Salem set had Kate Mansi fans buzzing that she could return to Days of Our Lives (DOOL).
The actress began speculating about why she was there. Some immediately thought she was back to take over the role of Abigail from her successor Marci Miller. That, however, isn’t the case.
It turns out the actress was at the DAYS studio to take part in a social media chat with the soap’s Daytime Emmy nominees.
All the hubbub did get Soap Hub thinking, so we asked if you want Kate Mansi to return to DAYS. Over 13,500 fans weighed in.

Together, they were magical, and made Chad and Abigail’s coupling one of the show’s best. However, that doesn’t mean you don’t like Marci Miller and see no reason why she can’t remain with the show, as well.

You find her to be a talented actress who’s quickly grasped the character, and think her portrayal has been flawless. Although you thought you’d miss Mansi when she left the show, you now actually prefer Miller’s take on the role.
You especially love Miller’s onscreen rapport with Billy Flynn, too. It is totally believable and effortless.
