As Days of our Lives makes its historic move from NBC, where it’s aired since 1965, over to the streaming service Peacock, it’s more important to figure out what fans most want more than ever and give it to them! Here’s what the viewers told us.
Days of our Lives: Umbrella Academy
We want a big mystery, 34% of the audience demanded, one that pulls in lots of different characters. It was fun watching John Black (Drake Hogysten), Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) team up to rescue Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall), Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).
Even if Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) isn’t thrilled about it. Now let’s bring in more people. Young people. Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), and Will Horton (Chandler Massey). Let’s see the generations interacting!
DAYS: Big Love
This is a show whose bread and butter is huge, sweeping romances, 30% of you remind. We’d like more of that, please. Which couple currently has fans on the edge of their seats, dying to know, will they or won’t they? Yeah…we can’t think of one either.
We Are A Days of our Lives Family
A slightly smaller 25% is looking for family drama, or at least scenes together. You loved Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) talking Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) through her pill addiction…then turned around and married daughter Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). She shouldn’t be the only one so multi-faceted.
DOOL: Get Out
Can we leave the studio once in a while, 11% are begging? Remember Roman’s (first) death, swooning off a (real) cliff? Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Williams (Kristian Alfonso) in New Orleans? Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) versus Kimberly Brady (Patricia Pease) and Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) in Florida? How about a return to those glory days of beautiful people in beautiful scenery? Beautiful!
Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Starting September 12, you will need Peacock+ in the U.S. and The W Network or Global TV App in Canada.
