Ever since he returned to Days of our Lives, Eric Brady has split his time between pining over ex-wife Nicole Walker and pretending that he didn’t mind ex-wife Nicole Walker marrying Rafe Hernandez. A full life, such pining does not make. Eric needs a love interest.
And Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) is right there. New in town, gorgeous…and unaware of Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) backstory. Should these two crazy kids give love a shot? Here’s what over 3,000 fans told us.
Eric isn’t ready yet, 43% of you insist. He’s still hung up on Nicole (Arianne Zucker). They only divorced because she cheated on him. And what kind of reason is that for splitting? Eric had some time to think about it and remember all the folks he knows in Salem who stayed together despite an affair…or seven. Now he needs to accept that he and Nicole are over before he can even think of taking up with another woman.
It’s OK with us, 37% shrug…as long as Eric and Jada take their time. He’s still in priestly withdrawal, and she’s too new in town to be tossed right into tales of Devil possession, people back from the dead, and other Salem peculiarities — her dad left town before all of that really heated up. Jada and Eric can get to know each other. She should really be in love before he lets her in on what she might be in for.
We see chemistry, 20% of the audience coos, and where there are sparks, there should be fire, we insist! Who cares if it’s good for Eric or good for Jada, we’re talking about what’s good for viewers. And viewers want to see hot romance between hot people. These two definitely fit the bill.
