You go, Gabi, 13% of the audience is cheering. If Stefan (Brandon Barash) won’t come to the mountain — the mountain, in this case, being Gabi’s love — then the mountain will come to Stefan. As far as Gabi is concerned, the reason Stefan hasn’t recalled their great love affair yet is that there have been too many distractions. Distractions named Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). Without those…um…distractions, he should come around in a jiffy!

She could have killed him, 41% of you rage. How was Gabi going to jog Stefan’s memory about their great love affair if he was dead — again? Now, we realize that just writing such a phrase makes it clear that no one actually ever dies in Salem. But why take the risk of him being gone for another three years? Don’t risk ruining the merchandise, Gabi. The merchandise, in this case, is Stefan.

Gabi did a bad thing for a good reason — again, 46% of voters sigh. And we’re kind of used to it by now. This is how she operates. This is how she proves her love. Maybe kidnapping Stefan was a bad idea in practice, but in theory, it could actually be just the thing Stefan needs to remember who he once fell in love with. This is Gabi at her Gabi-est.
