When Kristen DiMera forced Dr. Rolf to bring Stefan DiMera back from the dead on Days Of Our Lives, she also specified that Dr. Rolf should make Stefan forget his love for Gabi Hernandez and compel him to love Chloe Lane, instead.
Dr. Rolf did as ordered, because, really, it’s Kristen, what choice does he have? Will the new and improved Stefan be able to win Chloe’s heart?
That ship has sailed, 56% of you decree. Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) made it clear that even if she had feelings for Stefan (Brandon Barash) once, she can’t get over catching him with Gabi (Camila Banus). And, oh, yeah, she loves Brady Black (Eric Marstolf) now. It’s why Kristen (Stacey Haiduk) is so obsessed with reuniting Stefan and Chloe – so that she’ll dump Brady and leave him free for Kristen to snag again. But that’s not going to happen. Well, not unless Kristen were to kidnap and brainwash Chloe the same way she did to Stefan…
Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) is the person Brady should be afraid of, 23% of the audience points out. Stefan is acting under the effects of Dr. Rolf’s brainwashing. His feelings are artificial and won’t last long. Philip is the one who is truly obsessed with Chloe, and will keep coming after her… even while “dead.”
And then there’s the cynical 21% who figure, yeah, sure, Stefan can win Chloe back. How hard can it be, after all? Chloe and Brady were married, she left him because of his drug addiction, but now they’re back in love. For the moment. Chloe has also bounced back and forth from Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo). Her “we are never, ever getting back together” has a tendency to be… less then permanent.
