Chanel Dupree and Tripp Johnson got good and drunk on Days of our Lives. They trash-talked Allie Horton and Johnny DiMera, then decided to hook up — yeah, that would show their exes! Paulina Price put a stop to that real quick, pointing out that they were both wasted!

Yay, to Paulina (Jackée Harry) for understanding that both were too far gone to make good decisions, instead of the usual narrative of, well, the girl was drunk so she couldn’t be responsible for her actions, but if the guy was equally as drunk, he should have known better. So they just talked instead. But where should Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Tripp (Lucas Adams) go from here?
DOOL: Keep Your Distance
A whopping 90% of the audience wants these two to just stay good friends — nothing more. They’ve both been through too much emotionally to not bring that baggage into any potential relationship. Besides, can you say rebound city? He still loves Allie (Lindsay Arnold), she still loves Johnny (Carson Boatman) — and is angry at Allie. Work through that mess first, guys.

In comparison, only 6% are rooting for Chanel and Tripp to give love a try. They’re cute together. And they’ve both got their eyes wide open. They know how love can go wrong, which means they’ll be a lot more cautious and careful with each other. Or a lot more dismissive. It could really go either way.
DAYS: Half and Half
Why not split the difference and be friends with benefits, a last-place 4% suggest. It’ll give you guys something to keep you occupied while you work through your heartache…and it will make twins crazy. This quad is the definition of messy. And messy quads are what we tune into Salem for.
