Chad owes EJ, 53% of you insist, and, damn Skippy, he should tell the truth. Not only did Chad put his brother in jail, he did it by flat out lying in court. Sure, he thought he had a good reason — he saw EJ macking on Chad’s wife, Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). It was really the Devil in disguise. These things happen in Salem, you know. But the reason doesn’t matter. Only the crime does. And, in this case, Chad is the criminal.

Go ahead and spill, 42% of fans shrug, but keep your name and — most importantly —Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo), out of it. Lucas is family, too, you know. And sure, he may be guilty of the crime and EJ innocent, but why should that matter when it comes to the justice system? Family first! The right family.

Bad Boy

A conscience-less 5% are perfectly fine with letting EJ continue to rot in prison. Sure, he may have not done this bad thing. But he’s done other bad things. He did have an affair with Abigail — it was before she met Chad, sure. But why should he do the time for it, anyway? And he did make Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) sleep with him to save Lucas’s life. Call it even.
