Sarah Horton Cook barely exchanged vows on Days of our Lives with Xander Cook before it began to seem like the man who lied, cheated, and kidnapped a baby and an adult, might, once again, lie, cheat, and kidnap more than one adult. Surprising.
Once Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) finds out, her marriage has an excellent chance of going boom! Once that happens, whom should Sarah move on with?
Sarah was close with Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller), 21% of the audience points out. Which means she could bond with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) about her death. And you know what bonding leads to. Sarah is pretty messed up. An equally messed up widower would be her perfect match!
Sarah is a doctor…Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) is a doctor….they could play doctor…together…25% of you point out. They had some chemistry when they talked about, um, his crazy mother. So what if longtime viewers remember Sarah being born years before Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) first showed up in Salem, which was literally decades before Tripp’s off-screen conception? They’re more or less the same age now. Not that we mind cougars. But it won’t even be necessary through the magic of Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome!
Sarah will be all disillusioned with Xander (Paul Telfer), and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is all disillusioned with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). Sure, he’s dallying with Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) now, but eventually, he’ll get morally high and mighty over her, too.
And that will lead him right back to Sarah. The nice girl he had a nice relationship with…until she lied to him about their baby. But that was still nicer than how some other women have treated him. So why not give it another shot, 54% shrug. It’ll be lowkey. But that’s about all Sarah can handle these days.
