Belle Cheat With EJ DiMera on Days of our Lives

Belle Black Brady is not very happy with her lawfully wedded husband on Days of our Lives. She understands (and even believes) that the Devil turned Jan Spears into a Belle lookalike so that Shawn Brady ended up accidentally having sex with her — and conceiving a baby.

But what Belle (Martha Madison) can’t forgive Shawn (Brandon Beemer) for lying to her about it initially, and only coming clean when the physical evidence in the form of a six-month baby bump was undeniable.

Earlier, Belle defended EJ DiMera against kidnapping charges, when the Devil pulled some strings to land EJ behind bars, too. So they have that in common. Will it lead to commiseration? Which, in daytime, can only end in one way?

DOOL: The Other Woman

It was almost a tie, but 38% of you won out by insisting that the only way Belle would ever cheat on Shawn is if Jan convinces Belle that her husband wants his baby mama more than he wants his wife. This, frankly, seems unfathomable to us. But, then again, the baby will very likely make them do it.

Days of our Lives: Risky Business

On the other hand, 37% of the audience is confident that Belle would never cheat on Shawn…again. They’ve already done the cheating thing, and the reuniting thing. Aren’t they tired? We’re tired. Keep this couple together. It’ll make getting custody of the baby away from Jan even easier.

DAYS: End of the Road

Of course, an almost equal 25% are throwing their hands up in the air and decreeing that these high school sweethearts are doomed. They’ve never managed to stay together for long – on-camera, that is, and now they’re just reverting to type. If it isn’t Jan, and it isn’t EJ, they’ll find some other way to screw this up. Like they screwed up Claire.
