Jail does breed some strange friendships on Days of our Lives. Will Horton actually became good buddies with Ben Weston behind bars…even though Ben once “killed” Will. Now, EJ DiMera has crossed paths with Ben’s no-good dad, Clyde Weston.
Days of our Lives Polling
Not that EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is exactly an angel himself. (Even if the crime he got put into prison for is one of the few he actually didn’t commit.) So with everything these two have in common, will EJ and Clyde (James Read) become friends?
Tolerance Center
No way, 55% of you dismiss. At best, they’ll be civil to each other, but nothing more. This pair won’t be shivving each other and getting into brawls in the yard, but the buddy system is a bit too much to expect. Sure, they’re both criminals. But Clyde is of the common variety. And EJ is the classy kind. What, you didn’t know there was a class system in jail, too?
Days of our Lives: Not My Thing
EJ doesn’t have friends, 33% of the audience reminds. The guy has employees, conquests, flunkies, floozies, children, and Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney). That’s it. He wouldn’t know how to be a friend, even if he wanted one. Which he doesn’t. He might try to find a way to use Clyde, but if that doesn’t work, he’ll give him a wide berth. And keep calling his lawyer for a Get Out of Jail Free card.
Salem Settle
In last place are the 12% who remind that this is Salem, and the most unlikely people have been known to team up — as long as it’s in both of their best interests. Clyde has been on the inside for a long time. He can show EJ the ropes. And once Clyde gets out, EJ sure would be a handy pal to have.
