You know what would be really cool, 61% of fans suggest? If Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) actually solved a case. He has so many to choose from! Who killed Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller)? Who really killed TR Coates (William Christian)? Where is Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk)?

Who really kidnapped Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney)? Why did Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) announce that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) were getting married on June 19, 2022, when Salem skipped an entire year in the space of a single weekend? Pick one, Rafe – you deserve a win!

And if Rafe doesn’t prove up to the task, maybe John Black’s (Drake Hogysten) and Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) detective agency can pick up some of the slack. They can take a crack at any of the above, especially considering how close to home all of the incidents hit. Neither one has much to do lately, 32% of you point out. We should really look into changing that.

Only 7% are interested in seeing Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) take on a mysterious new client. Maybe because there’s already enough mysteriousness going on. If Rafe can’t handle it, and John and Steve can’t handle it, what chance does Marlena have? Sure, she’s been possessed by the Devil — twice. But now that he’s gone, she’s just a regular person. Maybe a team effort is what’s called for here.
