Sarah Horton’s brain bears a distinct resemblance to swiss cheese on Days of our Lives these days. First, she thought she was a long-dead woman. Then, she thought she was a little kid. Most recently, she lost the last couple of years of her life and thought she’d just given birth to little Mickey, whose biological father was Eric Brady, but she and Xander Cook agreed to pretend was theirs.
Days of our Lives Polling
When the truth came out that Mickey was dead — and Xander (Paul Telfer) had let Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) think Rachel Black was her daughter for almost a year — Sarah vowed she would never forgive the man. (Though she didn’t remember it, which means she didn’t remember the pain he caused, so…) Eric (Greg Vaughan), surprisingly, was the one who urged Sarah to overlook Xander’s little blip. Was Sarah right to follow Eric’s advice?
Love Is the Answer
It doesn’t matter who the advice came from, even Eric, because the fact is Sarah loves Xander, 96% of the audience reminds. Yes, he lied to her. But he also stood by her, supported her, rescued her, and, most importantly, cherished her – through the kind of thick and thin that would send any other guy running for the hills. Listen to Eric, Sarah. Listen to your heart. And get back with that man!
Days of our Lives: Dazed and Confused
Eric just happened to be right, 2% of you shrug, but so is a broken clock twice a day. Eric is not in a great place. He’s just been thrown out of the priesthood, his ex-wife is engaged to another man, and he had to relive his daughter’s death. We wouldn’t take his word on any other topics.
Show Don’t Tell
And then there are the slightly less 2% who point out that Eric’s words are irrelevant. Xander’s actions are what matter. The guy is constantly letting Sarah down. Why go back for more?
