Who Is Peter Reckell?

Reckell was born on May 7 in Elkhart, Indiana, but he grew up in Okemos, Michigan as the second oldest of six children. He got involved in theater in junior high school but behind the scenes — he built theater sets. He then started appearing in plays when he was in high school. He attended the Boston Conservatory and got his degree in theater.

Finding His Center
Along with acting, Peter Reckell is a big fan of yoga. He practices it frequently, as it helps him stay lean. He also swims, does Pilates, martial arts, as well as rides horseback and mountain bikes.

Protecting Our Environment
Reckell is very protective of our environment and does whatever he can to help the earth. In fact, he rides his bike nine miles to work most days. He also drives an electric car and only wanted to have one child, as he’s concerned about population control.
