Order In the Court: Will Belle Protect Claire On Days Of Our Lives?

On Days Of Our Lives, bad guys — and girls — have a long history of evading justice. Nobody did it better than Stefano (Joseph Mascolo), but props to Andre (Thao Penglis), Abigail (Kate Mansi/Marci Miller), and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson).

So Claire’s (Olivia Rose Keegan) habit of setting on fire anyone she doesn’t like is not necessarily something that will do her in. But it’s still going to be a tough charge to duck. Unless her legal eagle mama steps in.

That’s What Moms Are For
Of course, she will, 76% of you don’t even expect this case to go to trial. We keep hearing what a great lawyer Belle is — though exactly what kind of law she practices seems pretty much in the air. (Is it corporate?) Then why was she helping Mimi (Farrah Fath) with the Baby Bonnie custody mess?

A great lawyer should be able to talk her baby girl out of this one. Especially in a justice system where Abigail was allowed to walk due to her fondness for wigs, and Ben because, really, he’s too pretty remain behind bars for long.

Fair Play
A lesser 24% of the fans expect moral, upstanding Belle to make her daughter pay for her crimes. She could have killed Ciara (Victoria Konefal), Tripp (Lucas Adams), and Haley (Thia Megia)! Belle can’t opt for one justice system for those she loves…and another for everyone else. It wouldn’t be right.

Though, of course, she could argue that her daughter is mentally ill and that she needs treatment instead of punishment. That’s a really popular song in Salem.
