Oh Brother: What Should Chad Do About EJ On Days of our Lives?

On Days of our Lives, Chad DiMera was perfectly happy being Stefano DiMera’s heir – and running Papa’s company – while one of his many other brothers, EJ Dimera, was recovering from being hickory smoked. But then big bro came back, none the worse for wear without so much as a scar from his years as a mummy, and made it clear he wanted a piece of the action.

A Days of our Lives Rivalry

The two have a long history, not all of which has to do with business. There is also Chad’s (Billy Flynn) wife, Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller), who used to be EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) side-piece. What should Chad do about the two-front rivalry? Fans have some advice for him:

Suck It Up

Grow up, man, 66% advise. Big boys can share a multinational company, and they can get over what, for Abigail, was basically a youthful indiscretion. Abigail has no more interest in EJ beyond the movie they’re appearing in. And if you want to fight EJ for DiMera then do it the way Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) would have wanted you to. Be underhanded and devious and evil. But don’t be a wuss.

Kick Him to the Days of our Lives Curb

EJ is an interloper, 26% advise. His attention is split by Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). This is the perfect time to sneak up and steal the company from him. Heck, Chad, you’re an investor in Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) movie. EJ is starring in it. Surely, you can cook up a distracting emergency.

Give It Up

If working with EJ bothers him, then 8% suggest Chad just quit and go do his own thing. After all, he didn’t grow up a DiMera. Maybe he doesn’t have the stomach for it. Grab Abigail, Thomas, and Charlotte and go somewhere where EJ is just a distant memory. But definitely keep the money. Don’t be dumb.
