Martha Madison has been having a blast playing Belle on Days of Our Lives. She recently opened up about how she and co-star Eric Martsolf love filming in John and Marlena’s teeny, tiny apartment that seems to have a zillion rooms. She’s also enjoying Belle’s romance with EJ, where she loses all reason around him. In real life, she’s a happy wife and mom and recently shared how proud she was of her daughter.
She’s an Innovator
Madison happily shared on Instagram pics of her daughter, Charley, at a school event called the Innovators Academy 5th Grade, and wrote, “Very proud of my entrepreneurial offspring. As a group project, she had to collaborate on the concept creation, product design, budget, manufacturing, and marketing/branding of her smelly pens, ‘Lotl smells.’ According to her impressive pitch today, these pens not only smell delicious, but they are shaped like many different endangered species…and a percentage of each sale would go to support endangered animal groups. 🫶🏻.”
She continued, hilariously noting, “All of this was an idea project, but I’m fully convinced that if my kid made an Axolotl-shaped pen that puffed a strawberry scent out of its a$$ when you squeezed it, it would sell out globally. 😂🖊️. God, I love being this child’s Mom. 🥰🤪 @ajgilb.” An Axolotl is a type of Salamander, and that’s where the ‘Lotl’ in the project title comes from.

She’s Going to Soar
The photos she shared were of her daughter posing before the event, a projected image of the event’s name, and a projected slide of a forest with the text “Lotl Smells!” over it. The last was Charley, standing in front of a slide with the company’s mission statement on it, which stated that they wanted to raise awareness for endangered species, “by using silly, cute, sweet-smelling pens designed after them,” and the axolotl was their mascot.
Co-star Kristian Alfonso (Hope) responded with, “👏👏👏😍,” so Madison replied with the face with heart eyes emoji. One fan spoke for many with the comment, “We’d buy them! The kids would love this pen and cause! Way to go to your entrepreneur 😍🤩.” And another follower reacted, “Congratulations to your daughter on this project! Kids deserve room to soar!”
