At long last, Holly Jonas has a gal pal to share secrets, talk about boys, and go shopping with on Days of our Lives. Madelyn Kientz has been cast as Sophia, her childhood friend. The young actress made her debut on the Peacock soap recently.
DAYS Newcomer
A daytime newcomer, Kientz has done her share of commercial work, appearing in ads for Disney, Walmart, and P&G. Her credits also include a mix of television appearances, some guest spots, and some recurring, as well as a role in the 2020 film, Adventures of Rufus: The Fantastic Pet.

1. Kientz was born and raised in Colleyville, Texas. Her birthday is September 13, 2003, which makes her a Virgo.
2. She is perhaps best known for her role in the ABC primetime series Big Sky. She played the quiet, cool, and sarcastic Max in the show’s second season, a character who navigated teenage life challenges.
3. Her interest in performing started as a child, and she eventually began attending Studio 7 Performance in Dallas, Texas, where she trained in singing and dancing. Check out her rendition of the song “The Middle” here.
4. Over the years, Kientz has appeared in various theatrical productions. She kicked things off with a performance as Piglet in Winnie the Pooh at Artisan Center Theater in Hurst, Texas, in 2012.
5. Kientz was also a member of Chicago Actors Studio from 2016 to 2018. She appeared in Gilley’s Dallas Event Venue’s Christmas Show, Halloween Show, Broadway Show, and Art of Love.
6. She made her onscreen debut in 2019, when she landed a guest spot as Nika on the CBS series, The Unicorn.
7. Kientz owes her perfect smile to Schroeder Orthodontics, a Texas-based facility. In fact, she was the winner of their Fall Photo-Video Contest and won an iPhone X.
