Days of our Lives’ Susan Hayes Introduces Deidre Hall To Something New After ‘Rough Day’ in Salem

It’s not always easy being a soap star. There are times when you’re required to film emotionally demanding scenes. That was the case for Days of our Lives star Susan Seaforth Hayes. She shared with fans that she had a “rough day,” so she brought her co-star with her for a sweet treat. 

Tough Day at the Office

On Wednesday, October 16, Hayes shared a new snapshot to her Instagram account. She posed along with her DAYS co-star, Deidre Hall. The soap legends cozied up to one another and smiled at the camera. It’s nice to see the ladies relax. After all, their scenes on the Peacock soap are often dramatic and demanding.

Both of them held smoothies in their hands. In front of them was a yellow box with a pastry inside. The ladies had a tough day at the office, so they decided to get their sugar fix. 

“After a rough day in Salem, I introduced Dee to guava and mango smoothies at my favorite Cuban bakery, Porto’s in Burbank!” Hayes captioned her post. 

That wasn’t the only sweet treat they enjoyed that day. Hayes hinted that “many more pastries were purchased” afterward. She highly recommends the charming little spot. 

Getting Their Sugar Fix

DOOL fans flocked to the comment section. They loved seeing this photo of Hall and Hayes sharing their wholesome moment. Fans also love seeing their friendship flourish outside of the show. (Check Out Susan Hayes’ Grand Adventure.)

“Oh oh, was this after she fell down the elevator shaft? 😁. Love watching you ladies in action, keep up the great work, 😍” one fan joked. 

“You are so beautiful. God bless you both always. What a wonderful friend you have in Dee,” another user commented. “They both sure don’t look their age, beautiful women, 💕” mused a third user. 

It would be legendary to see Hall and Hayes enjoying smoothies at Porto’s Bakery. Meanwhile, fans found it amusing that Hall’s character Marlena would rather step into an elevator shaft than talk to Hattie.

They’re predicting that another Marlena/Hattie swap is coming to Salem. Hayes’ post could be a hint as to why things are so “rough.” There’s never a dull moment in Salem.
