Xander’s evolving story on Days of Our Lives has kept fans captivated since he first appeared in 2015. Originally introduced as Victor’s nephew, Xander recently learned he’s actually the Kiriakis patriarch’s son. Over the years, he’s been involved in criminal activities, power play schemes, betrayal, and more, but Sarah’s love has helped him lean into a redemption arc. With such a rich and tumultuous history, Paul Telfer’s castmates came together to congratulate him on ten years of excellence.
He Started Young
The DAYS official Instagram page shared a fun video with the caption, “Happy Anniversary @paultelfer 🎉Congratulations on 10 years at Days of our Lives! Full video on our new YouTube page: OfficialDaysofourLives. Direct link in bio. #DOOL #Daysofourlives #Days #PaulTelfer.”
The video opens with Linsey Godfrey (Sarah) hysterically doing some schtick: “Paulathen Elizabeth Telfer, it is your 10 year anniversary. I’m so excited that I got to be here for 7 of it. Good luck to you cause you’re stuck with me for another 7 at least.” AnnaLynne McCord (Cat) was up next and stated (with a straight face), “Congratulations, Paul. 10 years on the show. I can’t believe you started when you were 9. That’s so wild.”

Truly Beloved
The video continued on with quite a few cast members sharing heartfelt love and congratulations to Telfer. Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie) commented that Telfer was “turning into a leading man, which is what he always is any way in life, and you just wanna grab him and kiss him and hug him.” She corrected herself, lovingly adding, “Well, some people just want to grab him and kiss him and hug him. But I wouldn’t mind doing it myself.”

Other actors who chimed in were Cherie Jimenez (Gabi), Raven Bowens (Chanel), Billy Flynn (Chad), Carson Boatman (Johnny), Dan Feuerriegel (EJ), and John-Paul Lavoisier (Philip) who stated, “I want to thank you for holding the trophy of person to have made it most difficult for me to act and stay in the moment in a scene, because all I want to do is laugh.”
Some Were Forced To Wish Him Well
Referencing Telfer’s Instagram posts in which he’s chopping wood shirtless, Stephen Nichols (Steve) stated, “Get out that hatchet baby and start chopping some wood,” while Mary Beth Evans asked, “I wonder how many times you’re gonna have your shirt off this year?”

Clearly moved, Telfer responded, “Aaaaaaw – huge thanks to @ohmygodfrey and all the wonderful @dayspeacock family! So grateful and lucky that I get to work with you all! ⏳🤗⏳.” And Feuerriegel, who commented that he was blessed to have Telfer in his life, hilariously admitted in the comments, “I was forced Into doing this 😏.”
