Judi Evans is currently playing Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis on Days of our Lives, but she recently was reminded of a scene from her first year on the show, when she was playing Adrienne, that took her all the way back to a special time in school. That moment is the focus of this week’s Soap Hub Flashback Friday.
Judi Evans Looks Back
The beloved star loves to interact with her fans on social media. On X (formerly Twitter), there is an account called Justin&Adrienne Fans, that has been uploading clips from the super couple’s first year. “On this #firstyearflashback day in 1987…Adrienne cooked dinner 🍽 for Justin in her new apartment.”
The compilation of scenes (which you can see below) runs just under 10 minutes and shows Justin (Wally Kurth) excited to take Adrienne out to dinner. But Adrienne wants to do something different. She finally has an apartment with a kitchen, and she wants to cook him dinner. The sweet scenes caught the attention of Evans.
The actress retweeted that post and added a little something about it that touched many hearts. “Tuna casserole was my favorite ‘lunch day’ at school — the one they made for this scene brought back sweet childhood memories. Props let me take it home, and I ate the whole thing! 🐟❤️”
There were many responses, but Karismatic4Life spoke for many with, “I love Justin and Adrienne! I love this scene so much, and when they dance to the song at the end 😭😍😍😍 Bonnie needs to be ADRIENNE! I don’t care how they do it…but it needs to be done!”
During the infamous “time jump” on DAYS, it was revealed that Adrienne was killed in a car accident on Mother’s Day in 2019. While it appears that it was indeed Adrienne who died, this is Salem, which does have Dr. Rolf, so anything can happen.
