Days of our Lives had a stellar week with flashbacks that not only explained how Sarah and Kristen’s babies got switched, but what happened to Adrienne and why Will is convinced he’s responsible.
Days of our Lives Polling
But was it really Adrienne (Judi Evans) who died in the car crash – or could lookalike Bonnie have been behind the wheel? The hot take from almost 7,000 viewers:
Honk, If You Love Adrienne
A majority 68% of the audience thinks there was a switch-a-roo that fans aren’t privy to. Their key evidence? Adrienne would never honk the horn in such a crude manner. Even if she were driving a laboring woman to the hospital.
Adrienne was classy. She would merely tap politely. Of course, this does beg the question of where Adrienne is, if she isn’t six feet under. Is she being hidden by Justin (Wally Kurth)? Why?
Is she being held hostage by SteVano (Stephen Nichols) because she knows his secret? Much more likely. Either way, viewers win. But it better happen soon!
The Step of Acceptance
Sonny (Freddie Smith), Will (Chandler Massey), and Justin cried so beautifully over Adrienne. And that flashback! Oh, my goodness, the flashback! Who else but soaps can do a 30+ year flashback that doesn’t include different actors or terrible makeup — and a mullet?
Adrienne was loved, and she was mourned. Don’t nullify that by undoing her death. Fans aren’t interested in finding her hiding out on Melaswen, as it would cheapen the drama!
On the other hand, if it frees Will… well… then… fine. But can’t that happen without yet another rise from the dead? Now that Ciara (Victoria Konefal) is on the case, everything will come out into the open.
Will can get out of jail, Victor (John Aniston) can manipulate Xander (Paul Telfer), and life in Salem can go on. Without Adrienne. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
