Chad (Billy Flynn) and Thomas (Carey Christopher) played a wizard card game, with the young boy using the card he found in Konstantin’s (John Kapelos) room. Meanwhile, Konstantin gave Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) his mother’s wedding ring , and she had an emotional reaction to it. Also, John (Drake Hogestyn) reflected on his good fortune while he and Marlena (Deidre Hall) babysat Jude. Jada (Elia Cantu) and Rafe (Galen Gering) came to an understanding, while Everett (Blake Berris) did as well.
While Thomas added the card he found in Konstantin’s Room to his wizard card game deck, Chad was confused by the game until Stephanie arrived at the pub to give him some tips. Chad said he was staying out of DiMera drama and couldn’t wait to get back into the Horton house. Thomas asked Stephanie to come to the Kiriakis house to play games, and she agreed. Chad spotted Everett who entered the pub and tried to slip out. They talked about newspaper business. While babysitting Jude, Marlena and John are relieved to hear that everyone was rescued from the cabin, although Marlena’s worried that if Paulina’s radiation got anyone sick, the mayor wouldn’t forgive herself. John felt that guilt can sometimes be a positive thing, but when he started to get overwhelmed by his own guilt, Marlena wished he could find peace. They brainstormed ideas to help out Eric and Sloan financially. At the police station, Rafe refuses to give Everett any update on the hunt for Clyde, and laid into him about how he treated Jada, and his refusal to sign the divorce papers. Everett doesn’t know what’s wrong with himself, and left with no scoop. While trying to figure out a wedding date, Maggie told Konstantin that her lawyers needed to work fast before his visa expired. He gave her his mother’s wedding ring, but she tearfully refused it because she’s not ready to take off Victor’s ring. Konstantin offered to put the ring on a chain and swore on his and Victor’s graves that he wouldn’t take advantage of her. They both agreed they uplift each others’ spirits. Later, they exchange stories of their previous weddings. Konstantin off-handedly mentioned his wife disappeared after their divorce. Jada changed her tune about pressuring Everett, feeling that he’ll eventually come around and she’s in no rush to get married again. Rafe wished they could spend more time together but didn’t want to ask her to move in again, fearing rejection. She told him to take a risk and ask again. Everett lied to Stephanie and told her hypnotherapy was going well. She asked him to set everyone free by signing the papers. He didn’t understand his own hesitancy, and looked guilty when John and Marlena entered the pub and Stephanie told Marlena she hoped Everett continued with his hypnosis. Maggie revealed to Konstantin that she was returning to Titan. She left and he frantically looked for his card when Chad and Thomas entered. He told them he lost something that was in his room, and Chad interrogated the boy who denied taking anything. Later, Konstantin cornered Thomas who sheepishly gave back the card. Holding the baby, John remarked that he couldn’t imagine anything wrong in the world when he looked at the child’s face. He felt grateful for everyone in his life. Jada said she felt differently about everything. After her last few relationships, she didn’t think she could trust any man until she started going out with Rafe. She called him her “person” and told him to ask her to move in again. He did and she said yes. In Everett’s hotel room, he showed Stephanie a file with the divorce papers. Wanting to move forward with his life, he asked her to witness him signing it as Robert Stein.
