It’s no secret that Days of Our Lives star Paul Telfer is in great shape. The actor who plays Xander has many shirtless pics of himself on social media that back up that claim. He even did pushups on the show recently with his TV wife Sarah, played by Linsey Godfrey, sitting on his back. Now, he’s announced what his plans are for the new year, and they will only enhance his already impressive physique.
He Made the Cut
On Instagram, Telfer shared several amazing black-and-white pics of himself with a katana. And he looked as if he were born to wield the iconic Japanese sword. He shared his New Year’s resolution by writing, “My main New Year’s resolution for 2024 was to get back into training/studying sword/stick/knife-fighting again — and I actually followed through…It’s been exciting, humbling and so much fun that I’m totally hooked now!”
We can totally visualize the Scotsman brandishing the sword in combat. He continued by asking the fans, “What are your resolutions for 2025? Did any of you follow through on your 2024 ones?” Telfer then gave thanks and a tease with, “Huge thanks to @damissionphotos @omgitskikiii @westgrandmedia for this fun shoot – featuring some swords I inherited from @goran_visnjic 😉 More pics to come 🤘🗡️🤘.”

Intense and Serious
Co-star Abigail Klein threw the gauntlet down by responding, “TOUCHÉ!!!!” which Telfer replied, “@abigailklein_ en garde!” One fan warmed the DAYS star’s heart with the comment, “Bravo, Paul! Great pics. Fantastic resolution. I usually don’t make resolutions, but this year I want to take better care of me and my family,” and Telfer lovingly responded, “@brittanydperkins wonderful 🤗.”

Many fans and followers shared their resolutions with Telfer. They included being more creative and sticking to the promises they made to themselves. And one fan proudly shared their follow-through with a previous resolution, writing, “Intense, serious, Paul! Beautiful photographs! 😍 I don’t really make resolutions, but I did promise myself I’d visit Japan while my sister was living there & I did it in 2024!”
