Days of our Lives’ Mary Beth Evans Welcomes A New Addition To Her Family

Kayla’s life on Days of Our Lives has slowed down since she “died” and came back in 2023. Sticking to mainly doctor duties instead of adventuring, her life has calmed a bit while others around her have been having a tumultuous time. That’s good for her portrayer Mary Beth Evans because her life continues to move forward with a new little one joining her clan, making her a busy grandma.

Baby Time

Evans shared joyous news of the birth of another grandchild on Instagram. She wrote, “Welcome to life sweet baby Tatum Mary Schwartz. Born 10/02/2024. You are already loved by so many. #❤.”

In 1985, Evans married a cosmetic surgeon named Michael Schwartz, and they have three kids: Daniel Luke, Matthew Joseph, and Katherine Elizabeth. According to Soap Opera News, Tatum is the child of Matthew and his wife Kendall. 

Friends and costars were excited about the birth, with Tamara Braun (Ava) responding, “Congrats! Welcome to the world Tatum!” Her long-time scene partner Stephen Nichols (Steve) wrote, “Welcome Tatum!♥️♥️.” One follower gushed, “Congratulations Mary Beth! Another precious Schwartz grand baby! A beautiful baby girl! Love her name, Tatum Mary!❤️❤️.”

Love and congrats poured in from tons of excited fans. An ardent fan of Evans who knows a lot about her personal life enthused, “Wow 5 grandbabies to spoil, that’s so awesome! Congrats, she’s a beauty & I love the name❤️.” Another viewer posted, “Congratulations Mary Beth! Another precious Schwartz grand baby! A beautiful baby girl! Love her name, Tatum Mary!❤️❤️.”

One response was the loving, “Too sweet! 🥰Congratulations, Grandma x5!
