While Konstantin thought his plan to take Maggie’s inheritance was working, he was playing right into her hands on the June 6 episode of Days of Our Lives. Plus, Theresa made a move that might be to make Alex jealous, or it might have a deeper meaning.
Konstantin Is an Unwitting Dupe
Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) vented her concerns about Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) marrying Konstantin (John Kapelos), but Victor’s widow asked her to trust her. She insinuated that she had a plan in motion but chose to keep everything close to the vest, stating, “The less you know, the better.”
Maggie’s absolutely right because, at this point, Konstantin seems completely unaware she’s up to something. She’s setting him up to potentially embezzle money from Titan and bring him down. Of course, after warning Theresa (Emily O’Brien) that the clock is ticking for her to marry Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) — and take his money so they can split it — Konstantin waltzed into Julie’s newly renovated house to tell Maggie that his visa expired, and they need to get married immediately. Despite Julie’s horror at the news, the subtle yet smug look on Maggie’s face spoke volumes as she knew he was doing exactly what she wanted. Although Konstantin thought he burned the prenup she had him sign, she’s got the real one hidden away, and that will most likely be the final nail in his coffin once he enacts his own scheme.
However, it could get dangerous because she knows he has to kill her in order to take her money. Perhaps Black Patch will help her fake her death and make Konstantin think he’s won. That will make his trip up the river so much more satisfying when she reveals her not-dead status.

Kristen May Have Accidentally Set Up Alex For Heartbreak
Kristen (Stacey Haiduk) told Alex that he talks in his sleep and would go on and on about how much he loves Theresa, so she officially ended their friends-with-benefits status. Meanwhile, at the Kiriakis mansion, Theresa told Brady (Eric Martsolf) that she was not concerning herself with Alex because he’s been open about fooling around with Kristen on the side.
Appealing to his single man, lonely status, she wooed Brady into bed for a dance between the sheets. Alex arrived home to tell Theresa that he loved her, but no one was around in the living room, and he’d most likely stumble across the two. Despite being something of a callous cad, it will nevertheless be sad to watch his heart get shattered. (Check out what the fans are saying about the quadrangle of Alex/Theresa/Brady/Kristen.)
We know that Theresa is supposed to swindle Alex out of his inheritance, but there are moments when she seems to genuinely care for him. She’s also been open in the past about having feelings for Brady. So that raises the question: is she bedding Brady to make Alex jealous, or is she sincere in her feelings and really wants to rekindle her romance with her son’s father? She’s weaving an intricate yet scattered web, and by the end, Theresa will most likely back out of her agreement with Konstantin, but it could cost her.
